Central Technology Center
The Central Technology Center is located in Drumright, Oklahoma. The first classes were held at this technology center in 1970. Since then, this institution has been providing those in the community with different technical training options as well as many vocational training courses. There are full-time courses for students to enjoy as well as short-term classes with flexible class schedules. Students can learn new trades at the Central Technology Center and will be able to use their newly acquired skills to get lucrative new jobs.
The nursing program at the Central Technology Center has been one of the more popular programs for quite some time. This is a practical nursing course that will help students to acquire all of the necessary skills and knowledge to become licensed practical nurses (LPN). This school divides the nursing program into three levels. The first level teaches students basic science and patient care. The second level prepares students to perform advanced nursing skills and administer medications. Finally, the third level has a focus on obstetrical nursing and the disease process. Students will have both classroom and clinical experiences at local health care facilities during this program. This program is accredited by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
