University of Colorado Denver/Anschutz Medical Campus

Denver, CO 80217

The University of Colorado Denver Anschutz Medical Campus is home to two hospitals – the University of Colorado Hospital and the Children’s Hospital Colorado. Both hospitals are nationally ranked and considered the best hospitals in the region. The university is also the largest academic health center in the Rocky Mountain area and combines teaching at research and clinical facilities to better prepare students for their careers in the healthcare field. The university is structured into five health professional schools, including the College of Nursing, offering over 40 different degree programs for undergraduates and graduates.

The Anschutz Medical Campus is focused on teaching the health professionals of tomorrow, with all five colleges offering health and sciences degrees. The College of Nursing offers students multiple pathways to becoming a nurse, including a traditional BSN program, an accelerated program, an online BS program for registered nurses, and an integrated nursing pathway. As the university houses two of the top hospitals in the region, students will have direct access to clinical settings to receive real-world experience. Graduate programs are also available, including MSN and DNP programs and several pathways for BSN students who want to complete their master’s degree or doctorate in nursing. The MSN program allows students to select from nine specialty tracks.
