Platt College-Aurora

Aurora, CO 80014

Platt College-Aurora is a small college with a single focus. The college only offers one program, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). However, they do offer additional courses in liberal arts and sciences. The college was founded in 1891 near the Rocky Mountains. The region enjoys 300 days of sunshine each year, making it a great setting for year-round study. The college also works closely with healthcare systems in the Aurora area, providing students with real-world clinical experience. The college is an accredited member of the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) and was awarded the School of Excellence Award in 2018.

The BNS program offered at Platt College is designed to be completed in just 36 months. Students do not need to complete any prerequisites. The program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and approved by the Colorado State Board of Nursing. The college also offers a selection of online courses. However, students enrolled in the BSN program will complete their courses on campus. The online learning center provides students with the chance to complete assignments and interact with other students, providing additional resources and methods for completing standard coursework.
