MCPHS (Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences) University is a private university in Boston. It is in the Longwood Medical and Academic Area of the city and specializes in programs designed to train students for medical careers, including nursing. The location inside the Longwood Medical and Academic Area gives students access to exciting clinical opportunities working with medical professionals and treating a diverse population. The university also maintains two satellite campuses in Worcester, Massachusetts and Manchester, New Hampshire. The university started as the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in 1823. The university now offers a variety of programs through its 13 schools. The nursing programs are offered through the MCPHS University School of Nursing. 

MCPHS University does not have a lot of nursing programs. However, they do offer the traditional BSN program, along with an accelerated BSN program and an MSN program. These programs are accredited by the CCNE, while the university was accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges in 1974. The school gives students access to a high-tech simulation center and clinical placements. The immersive clinical experiences allow students to work closely with faculty and clinical staff at the top healthcare institutions in the region.
