Indiana Wesleyan University-Marion (IWU) is a private not-for-profit institution in Marion, Indiana that offers both undergrad and graduate programs. It is the largest private university in the state of Indiana, with over 15,000 students enrolled during the 2017 school year. IWU is affiliated with the Wesleyan Church and was founded in 1920. The campus is in Marion, Indiana, which is a small city located along the Mississinewa River. The university has invested nearly $250 million renovating the campus that sits on 345-acres of land in Marion. Most of the renovations were used to add more buildings to accommodate the growing student body. The university has also received honors, ranking as one of the top universities in the Midwest for several years. 

The IWU School of Nursing helps mentor and motivate students to succeed. Students can choose from several CCNE-accredited nursing programs, depending on their existing education. For new nursing students, there is a traditional BSN program. The university also offers RN to BSN, accelerated BSN, and MSN programs. The RN to BSN program is offered online and on-campus, providing registered nurses with a hybrid learning experience that helps accommodate their work schedules. With the traditional BSN program, the school combines coursework and clinical practice to give students a well-rounded education.
