Concordia College at Moorhead is a private institution in Moorhead, Minnesota. In 1891, the college was founded by a group of Norwegian settlers. The college is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in American and is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission. Students are required to take courses in religion, culture, communication, and health. The school opened with just 12 students and now has an enrollment of 2,500 students each year. Despite the small size of the college, Concordia College has 22 sports teams and 19 music ensembles. The campus is in Moorhead, which is the largest city in the northwest portion of Minnesota.

The college offers two nursing programs. Both programs are accredited by the CCNE. These programs include a traditional BSN program and an accelerated BSN program for those with a bachelor’s degree in a different field of study. While enrolled in the traditional BSN program, students complete over 800 hours of clinical work at local facilities. Students also have the chance to participate in extra clinical experience or paid internships. The traditional BSN program is designed as a standard 4-year program, while the accelerated program is intended to be completed in 16 months. To apply for the accelerated program, students must already have a baccalaureate degree with a non-nursing major.
