California State University Northridge (CSUN) is a public university in Los Angeles, California, and part of the California State University (CSU) system. Located in the Northridge neighborhood, the campus had a total enrollment for Fall 2015 of 41,548 students, making CSUN the largest school of the 23-school CSU system. The university offers over 130 different bachelor’s degrees, along with over 70 master’s programs. Besides offering a wide selection of programs, the university offers access to one of the biggest libraries in the region. The Oviatt Library has a physical collection of over 1.3 million volumes, along with over 500,000 eBooks.

The CSUN nursing programs are offered through the College of Health and Human Development Department of Nursing. The college does not offer any master’s programs or a traditional BSN program. However, several bachelor programs are available, including RN to BSN, accelerated BSN. The accelerated BSN program is a 15-month program for students that already have a bachelor’s degree. For those that have an associate degree in nursing, they offer the RN to BSN Collaborative Community College Program. The college also offers courses to prepare students for the Public Health Nurse Certificate through the California Board of Registered Nursing.
