Nursing Programs
The programs accept applications twice a year with priority given to the best qualified applicants who are also residents of the college service area. Applicants who are not accepted in an application period are able to reapply in the next period.
Admission Requirements:
- Apply and be accepted by the college
- Complete application for the nursing program
- High school diploma or GED equivalency certificate
- Official transcripts for all secondary level course work and college level coursework (if applicable)
- Complete Compass Test
- Complete pre-requisite math and science courses
- Cumulative grade point average of 2.5 for all college level course work including general education prerequisites
- Pre-Nursing Admission Exam (HESI or equivalent)
Students accepted in to the program are required to submit to mandatory criminal background check and drug screening.
LPNs who have graduated from an accredited school and hold a current unencumbered license are eligible to be considered for advanced placement.
